What Kit Digital is
It is a grant programme run by the Spanish government through Red.es and funded by the European Union under Next Generation EU. It gives self-employed people and small businesses a "digital voucher" that can only be spent with companies registered as digitalisation agents.
The point of the programme is that the money never passes through your account: you choose the agent, you sign with them, and Red.es pays the agent directly once the solution is delivered and filed. The only thing you pay is the VAT, which the grant does not cover.
How much the voucher covers for a website
The amounts below are the ones in the published rules of the programme. Deadlines, segments and open calls have changed several times, so check them at acelerapyme.gob.es before relying on them. If something does not match, tell us and we will correct it.

The voucher is granted per solution category. Ours is "Website and Internet Presence", and it covers twelve months of service.
What the programme requires the website to have
The rules set minimums for this category. All of them are part of what we do anyway, so nothing odd has to be bolted on to comply:
- Your own domain, registered for at least twelve months.
- Hosting for at least twelve months.
- Design with a minimum of three sections or pages.
- Responsive: it looks right on phone, tablet and desktop.
- Accessibility to level AA of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
- Self-managed: you have to be able to change the content yourself.
- Basic indexing in the main search engines.
- Search engine optimisation of the site.
The "self-managed" requirement is exactly what we do: in our case you change the site by writing a sentence, without learning to drive a control panel.
How to apply, step by step
- Register at acelerapyme.gob.es and take the digital diagnostic test.
- Apply for the voucher on the Red.es electronic office, with a digital certificate or Cl@ve.
- Once granted, choose a digitalisation agent. That is where we come in.
- We sign the Digital Solutions Provision Agreement with you.
- We build the site, deliver it and file it with Red.es.
- Red.es pays the voucher directly. You pay the VAT and nothing else.
What we do
- The diagnostic and the application, if you have not done them: we walk you through it.
- The whole website, with the programme minimums met and checked.
- Both filings with Red.es, with their deadlines and their paperwork.
- Maintenance for the twelve months the grant requires, and afterwards.
If the grant does not come through, nothing changes about what we do: the site is still built in the same eight steps and paid for like any other project. Kit Digital is a way of paying for it, not a different product.
The price of the project is the same whether a grant covers it or not: it is published on the plans and pricing page, with what each tier includes and what the upkeep costs from the first year onwards.
