Local shops

Bank holidays, sales and summer hours, changed with a sentence.

The days you change your hours are exactly your busiest. And they are the ones almost nobody updates anywhere.

The shop’s hours, its bank holidays and its campaigns are changed by writing a sentence and are updated at once on the website and on the Google profile, which are the two places customers check before setting off.

Opening hours are the most consulted thing about your business

Ahead of the catalogue, the phone number and the address. And they are also what goes stale fastest, because they change with the seasons, with local bank holidays and with campaigns. Wrong hours are not a detail: they are a customer standing in front of a closed shutter.

The days that count most

Opening on the first Sunday of the sales, the local holiday when you open and everybody else closes, the day before a big date: these are the busiest days of the year and the ones most people check before leaving home. Scheduling them in advance is half an hour of work that pays for itself.

Campaigns, announced where they are seen

Sales, clearance, seasonal arrivals or a weekend promotion get announced on the website and on the profile. It is worth bearing in mind here that sales and promotional selling are regulated in Spain by the Retail Trade Act 7/1996, and that information about the previous and the reduced price has to be clear.

And in one place

The real problem is not changing the hours: it is remembering to change them in the four places they live. It gets said once and lands on the site, in the footer and on the Google profile. What is not stored anywhere does not get forgotten.

What we do about it

Part of the maintenance: you never have to ask, and it is never billed apart.

  • Hours on the site and the profile Changed on both at once.
  • Holidays and campaigns scheduled Before they arrive, not the day after.
  • Holiday closure announced With the return date, which is what people look for.
  • Sale and promotion announcements On the home page and the profile, with pricing information in order.
  • Seasonal hours Summer, Christmas or the short day, changed with a sentence.
  • Last-minute change notices If you close for a day for any reason, it gets said where people look.

And this you change with one sentence

You write what you want changed and we publish it.

We are closed from the 10th to the 24th of August

Added to the site, the profile and with the return date.

We are opening on Sunday the 14th

Special hours scheduled in both places.

The sales start on the 7th

Announced on the home page and on the Google profile.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to announce bank holidays in advance?

Not compulsory, but it is what customers appreciate most. And on Google it can be scheduled weeks ahead.

Can I announce sales whenever I like?

Sales and promotional selling have rules in the Retail Trade Act and in consumer regulations. The basics: the previous and the reduced price must be clear.

What if I close unexpectedly for a day?

It gets said with a sentence and lands where people look. That is what saves the wasted trip.

Can I have different hours by season?

Yes, and it is worth it: summer, Christmas and the rest of the year are usually three different timetables.

Every figure and every rule quoted above, linked to the official text.

When did you last update your hours on Google?

If you cannot remember, they are probably wrong. And that means customers at the door on a day you were closed.
