Garages and motor trade
Where people look after hearing a strange noise.
Hours, photos of the workshop, directions and stars. The profile is the first thing somebody with a breakdown and no time sees.
The workshop’s Google profile is created, verified and maintained with the right category, the services offered, the real opening hours and the reviews attended to, which is what decides who somebody with a breakdown calls.
Last reviewed:
The emergency search
«Garage near me» at a quarter to nine in the morning, with the car making a new noise. That is the moment, and what decides is what can be seen without opening any website: whether you are open now, how far away you are, how many stars you have and whether somebody has left a photo that inspires confidence.
The category and the services
«Car repair shop» is not the same as «body shop», nor as «tyre service». The primary category decides which searches you appear in; the declared services refine the rest. Google’s guidelines also require the name to be the real one, with no keywords tacked on.
Hours that hold true
A workshop that closes at midday and does not say so generates customers at the door and a one-star review. Special hours — August, Easter, bank holidays — get scheduled in advance, and that is part of the maintenance.
Photos of the real workshop
In the motor trade a photo is there to take fear away. A clean, tidy workshop, with the ramp and with the person who will look after you, says more than any slogan. Stock photos of gleaming engines fool nobody.

Frequently asked questions
A former partner created the profile
Ownership can be claimed. It is the first thing we check, because without control of the profile nothing else can be done.
Should I publish the labour rate?
You can, and it filters. What matters is that it matches what you say at the counter.
How many photos do I need?
The front so people recognise you, the unit, the ramp and the team. Few and good.
What if I have two workshops?
One profile each, with its own address. You do not duplicate profiles for the same place.
