Tourist accommodation
The registration number where the rules require it.
A tourist property has obligations a website can help meet: showing the number, informing properly and collecting guest data the right way.
The property website shows the tourist registration number where regional rules require it, states the terms before booking, and collects guest data in the knowledge that Royal Decree 933/2021 imposes a duty to keep a documentary register and report it.

The registration number, in plain sight
Each Spanish region has its own tourist accommodation register and its own rules on how and where the number must appear in advertising, which includes the website. Since the detail depends on where the house is, what we do is put the number somewhere fixed and visible — footer, property page and terms — and adapt the wording to what your region asks for.
The traveller register
Royal Decree 933/2021 requires hospitality activities to keep a documentary register of the people staying and to report the data immediately and, in any case, within no more than 24 hours. The website does not do that — it is done through the platform the administration provides — but it does shape which data you will need from the guest and when, and it is better for the site to say so than for it to be a surprise on arrival.
Informing before charging
In a direct booking it is you contracting with a consumer, so the prior information — total price, what is included, cancellation terms, who you are — has to come before payment rather than after. Spain’s consolidated Consumer Protection Act sets that out, and it also heads off half the arguments.
And the guest’s data
Name, document, contact: it is processing of personal data with its own information duty, retention period and purpose. It gets explained in the site’s privacy policy, only what is needed to book gets asked for, and it is made clear that the rest is collected on arrival because of the registration duty.
The same thing, explained in general: GDPR and cookies

Frequently asked questions
Where do I have to display the registration number?
It depends on your region, which is what regulates it. We leave it visible in the usual places and adapt the wording to what you are asked for.
Does the website do the traveller registration for me?
No. That report goes through the channel the administration provides. The site informs and prepares the guest, which is where it helps.
Do I need written terms if I let rarely?
Yes, the moment you contract with a consumer. And they save arguments even if you let three weeks a year.
What if I let rooms rather than the whole house?
Obligations change with the arrangement and the region. What the site can do is show the number and explain clearly; the rest goes with whoever handles your registration.
