Tourist accommodation
The good reviews you already have, where people decide.
You have years of reviews scattered across platforms. They are invisible on your own site, and your own site is where people book directly.
The reviews a property has already accumulated on platforms and on Google are shown on its own website, which is where the direct booking is decided, and new ones are attended to by answering all of them and buying none.
Last reviewed:
The trust you have already earned, kept hidden
A property with five years of reviews holds an enormous asset that is almost always invisible outside the platforms. When somebody reaches your site directly — because they searched your name or because they were told about you — they find a page that says nothing about all that, and they hesitate right before booking.
Bringing those reviews onto the site is one of the things that most changes direct conversion, and it costs nothing: they get published exactly as their author wrote them and linked to where they live, so they can be checked.
Answer every one, the unfair one included
In accommodation, criticism is usually about expectations: the house looked bigger, the track was worse, the village was further away. A useful reply does not argue: it acknowledges whatever is true, explains what has changed and makes clear who the house suits. Whoever is reading is measuring what you are like, not how that particular stay went.
Asking at the right moment
The moment is departure, while the stay is fresh and the exchange has gone well. A short message thanking them for coming, with the link, works far better than an email two weeks later. What you can never do is give something in exchange: Google’s policies forbid incentivised reviews and platforms have similar rules.
And the Google profile, which almost nobody works on
In accommodation, platform reviews get looked after carefully while the Google profile — the one that appears when somebody searches the name of your house — gets forgotten. It is the first impression of whoever is arriving to book directly, so it deserves the same care.

What we do about it
Part of the maintenance: you never have to ask, and it is never billed apart.
- Reviews published on the site The ones you already have, as they are and linked so they can be checked.
- An alert for new reviews The same day, above all the awkward ones.
- Help with replying With a written rule, not improvising each time.
- A request at departure A short message with the link, without pestering.
- The Google profile attended to Which is what people searching your name see before booking direct.
- No bought reviews We neither ask for them nor arrange them.
And this you change with one sentence
You write what you want changed and we publish it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I copy reviews from a platform to my site?
They can be shown citing where they come from and linking to the original. What does not happen is rewriting them or stripping the context.
What if a review is untrue?
It gets reported if it breaks the site’s rules. If not, it gets answered calmly and with facts: far more people will read that reply than the review itself.
Can I offer a discount for leaving a review?
No. It is forbidden by Google and by most platforms, and it shows.
How much do reviews matter for direct booking?
A great deal, because whoever books directly takes on more risk: there is no platform behind them. Showing checkable reviews is what offsets that.
